DAVID
KNOFF was born in Marshall, Minnesota, on February
9, 1971. He received his B.S. from South Dakota State
University in 1994. David received his Juris Doctor in
1997 from the University of South Dakota.
David
is a member of the State Bars of South Dakota and Nebraska.
He is also admitted to practice before the United States
District Court for the Districts of South Dakota and Nebraska.
David
currently serves as Secretary for the Yankton County Bar
Association. He also serves as District 21’s (North
Dakota and South Dakota) Representative in the American
Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
PROFESSIONAL EMPHASIS
AND EXPERIENCE
David
pursues a general practice with an emphasis on civil litigation,
criminal law, and post-judgment relief. He also practices
technology law, specializing in employer/employee rights
and obligations. David is also a court-authorized family
law mediator.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
David
is active with the Yankton Morning Optimists Club and
Yankton Ice Association. He is on the Board of Directors
of the Yankton Historical Riverfront District, Inc.
