KEVIN
LOFTUS was born in Sioux City, Iowa. He received
his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in chemistry
from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. Loftus
worked in and supervised clinical laboratory services
in South Dakota and New York for 14 years before returning
to school to seek his Juris Doctor in 2001 from the University
of South Dakota. He has been a member of the South Dakota
Bar Association since 2006 and is also admitted to practice
before the United States District Court for the District
of South Dakota. Mr. Loftus is also a member of the Bar
Association of Nebraska and Iowa since 2006 and a member
of the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Assocation.
Following law school, Mr.
Loftus served as law clerk for the First Judicial District
of South Dakota.
PROFESSIONAL EMPHASIS
AND EXPERIENCE
Mr.
Loftus’ practice is general in nature, offering
services in the areas of civil litigation, family law,
criminal defense, probate and estate planning.
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Mr.
Loftus currently serves on the Board of Directors for
the Yankton Area Kiwanis.
