
ALICE
ROKAHR was born in Norfolk, Nebraska, on November
28, 1956. She received her undergraduate degree, magna
cum laude, from Wayne State College in 1982. Alice received
her Juris Doctor in 1986 from the University of South
Dakota, where she served as Copy Editor for the South
Dakota Law Review.
Alice
is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota. She is also
admitted to practice before the United States District
Court for the District of South Dakota and the United
States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Alice
is currently a member of the American Bar Association,
National Association of Elder Law Attorneys, National
and South Dakota Council of Planned Giving, South Dakota
Defense Lawyers Association, and South Dakota Mediation
Association.
She
also serves on the South Dakota Board of Bar Commissioners
(2000-present), South Dakota Real Property, Probate &
Trust Executive Council (1995-present), South Dakota Real
Estate Title Standards Commission (President, 2000-present),
and the American Bar Association’s Real Property,
Probate & Trust Section.

Alice

real estate, trust administration, and elder law. She
is also a court-authorized family law mediator.
